As a Wilson native I have a great appreciation for all the things that make our city a unique and wonderful place to live. Growing up in Wilson I learned the values of helping others and giving back to the community from my parents, Bob and Ruth Pope, Wilson residents for over 70 years. After living in Raleigh, NC and Fort Collins, CO, I returned to my home town with my wife, Amy Pope. The greatest real estate transaction of my life was buying the house I grew up in and making it our home. Together we make up “The Pope Team” at Our Town Properties.
My background as a small business owner and an entrepreneur in the commercial office furniture industry has given me a valuable perspective on working effectively with clients of all types. I have a low pressure approach focused on listening to the customer and working hard to meet your individual needs. I am active in the Wilson Chamber of Commerce, the All American Kiwanis Club, Wilson Elks Lodge and my church. My leisure activities include backpacking the Appalachian Trail, running and enjoying family time in Atlantic Beach.
