Info: Jeff was born and raised in the Wilson community. His parents worked for the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf for over 30 years. Jimmy Massey was the Dean of Students and Linda Massey was a teacher at different levels.

Jeff’s pride and joy are his church family, his wife, and three kids. Joi (wife) is a Physical Therapist with Comprehensive Rehab of Wilson. Taylor (daughter) and Hunter (son) and Stone (son) are active in school and sports. The Massey family attends Forest Hills Baptist Church in Wilson where Jeff is a deacon.

Jeff attended Adams Elementary, Winstead Elementary, Vinson-Bynum School, Coon Middle School, and Hunt High School. He attended Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) for general college and received his BSBA in Marketing Management from East Carolina University.

Jeff worked with BB&T for almost 12 years. He was a Systems Analysis for the Marketing Department and a Regional Analyst for the six county Eastern Region. For three years, he was Branch Manager for 4 of the 6 branches in Wilson County . During his time at BB&T he was also a Commercial and Retail Lender.
